Allyson Felix makes fifth Olympic Team, first since becoming a mother

In JAMS 487: Internship, I spent the summer covering track and field at the reimagined Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. During the 2020 Olympic Trials, I wrote recaps and features on the highlights of the events. Allyson Felix made her fifth Olympic Games, which was her first after having her daughter. This feature shared aspects of the sport and Felix’s road to another Olympics, highlighting how this Trials was even more impactful for her and the community.
